Can I use Sprite Call to place a Sprite at a battlefield I'm currently contesting with my units?
Answered under Unleashed Rules FAQ and Clarifications
Yes. You can play to a battlefield you are currently contesting. The spell creates a ready 3 Might Sprite token with Temporary at that battlefield, and that token will be killed at the start of its controller’s next Beginning Phase before scoring.
Final Ruling
You may play to the contested battlefield while you are contesting it. The token created is a ready 3 Sprite unit token with Temporary per the token rules , and Temporary causes it to be killed at the start of its controller’s Beginning Phase before scoring . Playing the spell on your turn is allowed because a spell can be played during an Open State on its controller’s turn .
